A little bit about myself...

I am half Chinese, half French-Tunisian, and was born and raised in Hong Kong.

I am currently a Business Intelligence Engineer at Amazon, where I create data solutions for various Operations teams. I use SQL, Tableau, and QuickSight to automate data analyses and reporting, providing clear insights and data-driven action plans to improve the business. I enjoy collaborating across teams to problem solve, execute project plans, and brainstorm program improvements and new ideas.

Remember when the Evergreen ship got stuck in the Suez Canal? That was my second day at Amazon working in Global Logistics.

Pillars that I bring to my work...

#creativity
#innovation
#data_analysis
#collaboration
#positivity

I love to create. Whether it's building a new metric or designing new packaging, I enjoy brainstorming new ideas and thinking outside of the box. My goal is not to rewrite the wheel, but to innovate new ideas and challenge current processes. I approach each new project and problem with design thinking skills.

I use data to back my ideas and tell compelling stories about the program and business. With my technical experience and passion for design, I excel at collaborating across tech, marketing, and operations teams as I can speak their languages and understand their work and priorities.

And finally, one of my greatest strengths is bringing positivity to the workplace. I love working with people, connecting at a deeper level, and motivating teams to achieve our goals and go above and beyond. I value fostering an environment for growth, productivity, and joy.

I studied 5 disciplines...

#mechanicalengineering
#industrialengineering
#design
#computerscience
#psychology
My major, Manufacturing and Design Engineering, combined mechanical engineering, industrial engineering/supply chain, and design into one. I am equipped with the knowledge and skills to be able to identify areas for innovation, conceptualize new ideas, communicate them through sketches, 3D models, mock-ups and prototypes, and pitch them to clients and industry professionals. I also learned different manufacturing methods and even injection molded my own velociraptors.

With technology being a part of everyday life, I wanted to learn computer science so that I could innovate with code. I studied psychology to understand how people think and behave, so that I could design better for the user. This unique combination of disciplines allows me to innovate, problem solve, and create meaningful solutions for people.

I love...

my dog, Saffron! We adopted her from the shelter when she was a puppy.
to ski! I spent my Chinese New Years racing and cruising down fresh powder.
to cook! I grew up with French, North African and Asian cuisine.
